Q: How do I purchase tickets?
A: Any Ticketmaster outlet, charge by phone with Ticketmaster 216.241.5555 in Cleveland, 330.945.9400 in Akron, online @ WWW.TICKETMASTER.COM or The Agora Box office which is located at The Agora, 5000 Euclid Ave, Cleveland. Q: My ticket has an assigned seat. I thought it was a General Admission show?
A: Ticketmaster tickets do have a number assigned for each ticket, but it will also say GA, indicating that it is still indeed a general admission show.
Some events (such as wrestling) do have assigned seating, but that would be indicated at the time of purchase.

Q: What time do the the doors to the venue actually open?
A: Typically 1 hour before show time, unless otherwise noted.

Q: When is the concert over?
A: This time varies for every show...usually the exact time won't be known until the day of the show.

Q: Is there an info telephone number?
A:
216.881.6911

Q: What ages are allowed in the Agora?
A:
The venue is all ages, with a few exceptions...we are a Marlboro Cigarette sponsored venue. When they put on a show, you must be 21 or over to attend. This would be noted on the advertising, the web page, and on our calendar.
As far as little people go, you must be at least 5 years old to enter....this means we do not allow infants or toddlers...we understand the baby is truly named after Sebastian Bach and all, but we actually care about your poor kid's ears.

Q: Is there a parents section if I'm just dropping off my teenagers?
A:
Sorry , no there is not....we do have a bar area that is in the lobby, away from the noise, but you would need to have a ticket to enter the venue.

Q: My kids are under the legal drinking age...will they have access to the bar?
A: The bar is in the lobby and in order to be served, you would have to show proper ID, and be wrist banded. Even if you have a wristband, you can still be carded at the bar. This eliminates the passing off of the wristbands.

Q: What type of security is there?
A: We hire Tenable Protective Services for our concerts.

Q: Do you allow cameras, or recording devices?
A: No.

Q: Can I bring in my Back Pack?
A: Although highly discouraged, Yes, but security will search it.

Q: Once we're in, can we go outside and come back in the venue?
A: NO....there is a strictly enforced NO RE-ENTRY POLICY!

Q: How do I book my band?
A: Please refer to the booking section of this site.

Q: How much is it to rent the Agora?
A: This price always varies. You would need to contact rental(at)clevelandagora(dot)com to answer any rental questions.

Q: Can I be added to the guest-list?
A: No, guest passes are not issued by the venue.

Q: How do I buy a backstage pass?
A: You don't....backstage passes are issued by the band, their management, or the label. This is always determined by them, NEVER by the venue.

Q: Is The Agora Handicap accessible?
A: Yes, whether or not the show is in the Theatre or The Ballroom, wheelchairs can be brought in through a separate door. When arriving at The Agora, you would simply come in the main doors and alert security or staff that you need the handicap ramp door opened, and they will escort you in.

Q: Is there Parking available?
A: The Agora's secured lot is in the rear of the building, at 5001 Prospect Ave. The charge is $5. Other neighboring businesses open their lots for parking too, and charge whatever they want.

Q: What is the neighborhood like?
A: We're located about 2 miles east of Cleveland State university. It's an industrial area, made up of mostly businesses and warehouses...it's patrolled regularly by Midtown Security.

Q: Is [fill in your favorite band name] coming to the Agora?
A: Concerts are announced on our show page and our mailing list as soon as they are confirmed. We do not announce shows or information about shows until it is official. DO NOT email us asking.
